Planned Giving in a Small Shop – Ten Tips for Success

Join us as Vince J. Fraumeni leads us in providing key steps to developing a planned giving program for small (and even large) shops. The session will focus on agency and board support, organizational readiness, marketing, donor follow-up and tracking, and staff and volunteer training.

Vince’s presentation is an excellent educational opportunity for all leaders to develop and grow their planned giving program!

Vincent J. Fraumeni

Vince graduated from Whittier College in 1969 with a major in Political Science and a double minor in Speech and Anthropology.

He earned his Master of Arts in Education in 1972. He began his first career as an elementary and middle school teacher.

His work as an alumnus volunteer resulted in a second career as a professional fundraiser in 1982 (Forty-two years ago this year!). Since then, he developed successful planned giving programs for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the House Ear Institute, Whittier College, among others. 

For over nineteen years Vince was a consultant to non-profit organizations. He is a recognized speaker throughout the country and has been the Director of Planned Giving at Cal Poly Pomona for the past five years.

For fun, Vince and his wife of 55 years enjoy traveling. They have taken more than 50 cruises and have visited 70 foreign countries including 37 islands. They just recently returned from Japan and South Korea. They have visited over 225 foreign and domestic wineries. When not on the road, they spend time with their children and grandchildren. Vince is an Eagle Scout, and volunteers in several capacities with the Orange County Council BSA.
