We will dive into the essential strategies for cultivating and sustaining meaningful relationships with stakeholders (i.e. board members, donors, physicians, business partners, clients). Maria’s insights into how nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community leaders can develop and maintain trust-based partnerships with donors is one for the books. You will learn actionable techniques for effective communication, engagement, and stewardship, as well as how to create a culture of giving that benefits both the donor and the organization. Maria Salinas, CPA is President and CEO of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce. Maria is a founding board member of the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine whose mission is to “serve and work with communities and our neighbors, locally and around the world. Together, we are establishing long-term partnerships to strengthen healthcare and reduce health disparities in under-resourced areas.”
